Thursday tramp - Burtton's track
4 September - Burtton's track is part of the Te Araroa walkway between Scott's Road and the hills behind Shannon. Our Thursday tramping group split into two groups and swapped car keys in the middle to allow us to do the whole walk of 15 km. The track mostly follows the Tokomaru River and it is a pretty valley.
