Back into France - Alsace

28 - 30 July - We had found Switzerland to be very expensive and headed back into France via Basel.  We were keen to visit the Alsace region.  Unfortunately it was often drizzly while we were here, but we still enjoyed the beauty of the architecture and the landscapes of this wine growing region.  Villages we spent time exploring included Colmar, Riquewihr, Ribeauville and Hunawihr.

We were fortunate to come across a wine tasting in one of the town squares.
